About Examinations:-
Academic year is divided into two semesters, the first from June to November and the Second from December to April. Examinations will be conducted in papers of all semesters in October and April respectively for odd and even semesters every year.
Attendance Requirement:-
• Students with 80% attendance are eligible to appear for the examinations.
• Student with 70% to 80% attendance are allowed to appear for examination on Medical Background only.
• Students with less than 70% are eligible to write only arrear papers.
• Students Attendance is updated frequently on the DOTE web portal (http://www.tndte.gov.in ) as per the schedule given by DOTE, Chennai.
Passing Requirements:-
To qualify for a pass, a student should secure minimum 40% marks in theory subjects and 50% marks in practical subjects in internal and semester examinations.
Internal Assessment:-
• Two Internal Assessment Tests & one Model Examination for theory subjects and one Model Examination will be conducted for Practical Subjects during every semester by Exam cell as per the DOTE rules.
• Also Five Unit Tests, daily class test are conducted by the faculty to improve the student exam writing skills.
• Internal assessment mark is given based on their internal marks, attendance and assignment for every subject.
