St.Joesph’s Polytechnic College was established in 2010 by the Dindigul Catholic Diocesan Society under the leadership of The Most Rev Dr. Antony Pappusamy D.D. the first bishop of Dindigul Diocese who is the founder of JPC and the pioneer of Educational institutions in Dindigul.  As his successor The Most Rev. P. Thomas Paulsamy D.D., the Bishop of Dindigul is the present Chairman of the College and under his paternal guidance the entire administration is marching forward with the sole aim of imparting quality technical education within the reach of students from the rural areas of Dindigul district.

The college strives to impart quality engineering education as well as practical skills. It is the objective of the college to inculcate in every student a sense of responsibility towards the society and respect for human life, besides developing in them the highest standards of professional behaviour and personal integrity.
